Ken Therrien, Director
Having taken over as Director in 2003, Ken can be found manning the office at camp ’til all hours of the night. He’s actually much happier swinging a hammer at a site when he can sneak out from under the rest of the staff’s watchful eye! His passion for Christ is evident as he plans ways to bring more students to camp in order to serve more families in need.
Marcia Therrien, Director
Enjoying the fact that she gets to work with her whole family, Marcia loves the life of camp! She can be found running things behind the scenes or happily interacting with the students and residents. Sometimes known as the "iron hand of camp," Marcia loves people and loves serving Jesus alongside her husband and grown children.
Marc Therrien, Director
In 2010, Marc joined the ranks full-time after having the record for attending more consecutive camps than anyone else. As a Director of wcNE, he uses his talent for all-things-Programming such as worship leader, video/web designer. When not using his eye for the arts, Marc shares his skills for management in the office year round. He can be found leading our evening program, out at a site or you may find him interacting with the students while using his insufficient athletic ability to make others feel like all-stars!
Jess Therrien, Admin Team
Jess brings amazing talents to the table – organization, beautiful voice, hard work ethic and fun! While most of her time is now spent raising her three children, she loves to pitch in around the office, and is more than happy delivering ladders or swinging a hammer. Watch out for her on the volleyball court – she’s lethal! Her love of the Lord is evident in everything she does and is.
Jack Hageman, Building Arts Director, (aka BAD)
Jack came onboard staff at the beginning of 2013, after having attended camp for many years in multiple roles. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the building trades and from his self-chosen title, he also brings a vast sense of humor! Coming in from the Midwest each year, Jack is our Head Contractor. Retired from state law enforcement, Jack is not only talented in building arts, he is a man of high character and lots of fun.
Tammy Hageman, Admin Team
Tammy is a true blessing to the workcampNE ministry. While desiring to be in the background, and not wanting any title, Tammy is an amazing worker who is always pitching in a million ways to help camp run smoothly. She is an avid board game player, and wonderful mother and grandmother to her family.
Kim Hamilton, Resident Outreach/Social Media Coordinator
Another “lucky find” came about with the addition of Kim to the wcNE team. Kim brings with her a wealth of knowledge in human resources, marketing and a huge heart. All of these attributes have come in extremely handy in getting resident referrals and assisting on site visits. Kim’s go-getter attitude is exactly what wcNE needed to take things to the next level. She’ll drive the initiative to create and maintain a social media platform, find new churches interested in attending camp and anything else that helps grow the ministry. She and her husband, Wade, actively participate in camp each year. Her children, Jack and Sarah, both have longstanding history with wcNE as videographer and child care provider and campers. The Hamilton’s are a great example of serving together.
Mel Eitel, Prayer Coordinator
As devoted prayer warrior over all aspects of the wcNE ministry, Mel has served for many years. She brings a tremendous amount of joy and leadership to her role. First joining camp as an intern working for a NH church in 2002; Mel has been a crew leader, prayer lead, but her “happy place” is in the kitchen where she loves plumping us all up! After marrying our favorite Canadian, Jamie, the strong call to return to New England and to wcNE came in 2010 when they relocated to NH. Mel works full-time in the medical field and resides in Manchester, NH with hers and Jamie’s beloved pup, Ditto.
Chris Ratay, Production Coordinator
Coming onboard the workcampNE team in 2012, Chris brought with him his time and talents in the light and sound field. When not behind the sound board at camp, you can find Chris filling in as a crew leader, making ladder deliveries, and doing the heavy lifting. He resides in Manchester, NH and works as a contractor for a local production company. He's an avid golfer, enjoys going to the gym, and loves serving for the kingdom.
Mandi Ratay, Admin Team
Mandi recently joined the workcampNE crew in 2015. She moved to New Hampshire from Illinois to become more involved in the trenches of camp. While serving at camp, you can find Mandi serving as a crew leader, delivering supplies to crews as a Go-4, or sharing a good laugh with the campers. She finds joy in serving in all aspects of workcampNE and is a hard worker who won't turn down a competitive card game with anyone. Working as a school social worker gives her lots of experience in working with people at all levels.
"Super" Dave Harrison, Board
"Super" Dave has served on the workcampNE board since 2009. Serving as a band member, night-time monitor, crew leader, and keynote speaker, Dave wears many important hats around wcNE. He faithfully continues to support the ministry by volunteering as a board member, while simultaneously serving as the preaching pastor at Londonderry Christian Church in Londonderry, NH. He and his wife, Joanna, reside in Londonderry with their children.
Julie Neverman, Board
As a board member for many years, Julie is one of the original volunteers of wcNE. Her dedication to the ministry and passion to help others are just two of the qualities that make Julie a great asset to our team. Upon first coming to camp, she decided she was best suited for the role of Go-For. Retired after a long career in the educational field, she also handles all paperwork to register with different states regarding donations. Julie and her husband, Mickey, reside in Londonderry, NH.
