Marcia and I are now settled in from 3 extended weekends of activity spanning the last 5 weeks on the calendar manning a booth (and delivering 4 seminars) in Cincinnati, Hershey and Peoria. Our intention was to “Get the Word Out,” that is, raise awareness about who we are – to encourage others to do a short term missions trip hosted by workcampNE to the Northeast to help out so many of our residents in need. Marc & Jessica Therrien joined us to work the booth in Peoria.
We met up with lots of old friends which is always a blessing, and were able to have lunch/dinner with a few and we made many more new friends also. The three conferences had a combined attendance of about 10,000 individuals with the Missionary convention being the largest. We had provided iPod Touches as give-aways if you registered at our booth – we have followed up with an email “thank you,” for stopping by to see us. A couple of our winners are pictured here, along with our good friends the Tollers. We are hopeful to have some new groups join us this summer or next based on some of our conversations.

Good evening Workcamp crew – I want to say that in 2008 I had my home painted by the WorkcampNE – Crew # 10. I miss the Crew alot and the morning paryers we had together. I can not remember of their names but I believe they’re, Andrew, Ryan, Kristin, Lori. I would love to reunite with them or go to a Christian gathering with them. I want to call Broc here in Rutland VT & see about having my porch om my house expanded but love to see the Crew # 10 back and working on my house. When the crew left, I was in tears. Crew # 10 was so kind and understanding. Was great with my little son Damian.Damian sang along with them everyday. I was given beautiful green flowers made by hand in hanging pots on my house. I was also given two Holy Bibles. A large printed one & a black leather one, & a 5 x 7 photo of them all in a frame. I was just recently Baptized on Christmas Eve of 2009. I love Church and my Pastor Mark. I can not wait to join Bible studies again. Thank you for the letter that I received in the mail today, that was sweet of you. I would like to call Broc this Spring to see if I can have a bigger porch in front of my house.I would love to have chairs,children bikes and a Grill on my porch,(family together and sitting on the porch,like reading my Bible).
