Ken Therrien | Exec. Director - As Director of workcampNE, Ken brings with him a vision and passion for the ministry he has continued to develop over the past six years. Prior to taking the reigns at camp, Ken was involved as a crew leader for many years. Not only does he enjoy the challenge of running camp, Ken loves the interaction with the students and adults who attend. Under his direction, camp has grown to two weeks, doubled in attendance and now includes 20 churches currently attending. He’s instituted weekend mini-camps and leadership development seminars as a way to encourage future growth. When not running camp, Ken is the V.P. of Organizational Development for a company called TMSi. Here he is responsible for building a performance based culture. With over 15 years of experience in high-performing team building, leadership development and nearly 25 years in manufacturing and logistics, Ken has been hands on in creating an enriching culture that builds sustained, caring relationships. Ken holds a M.Ed. from Plymouth State University and has earned credit towards his M.Div. degree. |

Marcia Therrien | Asst. Director - Partnering with Ken, Marcia has been involved in camp over the past six years. Her main responsibilities fall into the areas of Resident care and helping with the day-to-day planning and running of camp focusing on the Programming and Marketing end. While enjoying her interaction with the residents and social workers, she finds greatest joy in working with the students that attend each year. She feels this is an excellent way to stay young at heart! Professionally Marcia runs a lab for a busy orthodontic practice and enjoys time ministering alongside Ken and her family. She has been actively involved in the marketing end of orthodontics for over 13 years as well. She’s an avid walking enthusiast and keeps workcampNE’s “staff” in shape by enlisting them on bike rides and hikes whenever she can. |

David Harrison | Church Relations - Dave brings his experiences growing up in the church and time spent in youth ministry to the Church Relations side of workcampNE. As a youth pastor, Dave spent five years in ministry; most of that time was spent in Mason City, IL. Each summer, Dave brought his group from Mason City to camp. During these trips he saw that the lives of his students were greatly impacted through the ministry. As a result of that, Dave decided to join the workcampNE team. Not only was he elected to the Board of Directors, he oversees the communication with the various churches that attend camp guiding them through the registration process, and he is active in pursuing new contacts to guide more churches into the ministry of workcampNE. Dave is an avid sports fan cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Bears, San Antonio Spurs, and the University of Illinois Fighting Illini. He is a graduate of Lincoln Christian University and is currently serving as the Associate Minister of Preaching at Londonderry Christian Church in Londonderry, NH where he currently resides with his wife, Joanna. |

Melanie Eitel | Prayer Leader - Having been part of the workcampNE since 2002, when a request came up for a prayer team coordinator, Mel jumped on it! It was perfect fit because in 2005 Mel married an incredible man, who just happened to be a Canadian. God placed her in another amazing ministry alongside him. The prayer team coordinator was custom made for someone who can't be local for hands on, but who can have direct contact with the Creator Himself. When not actively participating in workcampNE, Mel wears many hats. First as wife to Jamie, a man of God that loves to work with youth as a full time minister. She is a high school youth leader. Secondly, Mel helps lead a worship team twice a month. Professionally, Melanie is a Registered Medical Assistant, working for a clinic that has both medicinal and naturopathic doctors. Melanie and Jamie love being active in workcampNE and are blessed to be a part of this ministry year round. She’d love any prayer requests brought to her team where they will actively get the word out. Mel’s thoughts about the ministry are: watch the incredible things God has been doing, the phenomenal ways He has answered prayers, and wait to see what it will look like in the not too distant future! She feels if you ask God to take control, hang on for an incredible ride! She is glad to be on this journey with the rest of the staff and campers. |

He has gone from a camper, to crew leader, to band member, to worship leader and now to staff. When his father doesn't have him up on a roof at camp, he is also part of the video crew. Marc attended Lincoln Christian College and met his wife, Jessica, while there. Together they share a passion for youth ministry. Marc is on staff as Worship minister at the Prairieland Christian Church in Hartsburg, IL. He is also employed by Catholic Charities where he uses his talents to help care for at risk children. Continuing to grow in his role as workcampNE staff, Marc has taken on administrative responsibilities and will be leading worship again this upcoming year.
